As he entered his teenage years, DJ Edwin’s curiosity turned into dedication. Between the ages of thirteen and eighteen, he and his brother began investing in their own DJ equipment, determined to take their passion to the next level. Together, they spent countless hours practicing, experimenting with different sounds, and mastering the basics of mixing through VirtualDJ. What started as two brothers sharing a love for music soon became the foundation of Edwin’s unique journey as a DJ.
With time, DJ Edwin continued evolving alongside the technology that was transforming the DJ industry. He eventually transitioned to Serato, working with a Toshiba laptop and steadily developing his mixing techniques, transitions, and musical creativity. Those years taught him that being a DJ is about more than selecting great songs—it’s about understanding the energy of a crowd and creating a connection through music. For Edwin, every mix became an opportunity to grow, express himself, and develop a deeper appreciation for the craft.
Although his passion remained strong, life eventually led DJ Edwin to step away from DJing between the ages of twenty-three and thirty-two. During those years, the decks may have been silent, but his connection to music never truly faded. The memories of learning from his father and uncle, practicing alongside his brother, and discovering his own sound remained a meaningful part of his story. Eventually, that lifelong passion inspired him to make a comeback, proving that some dreams are simply too important to leave behind.
About three years ago, DJ Edwin made his return to the decks, bringing renewed energy, determination, and a fresh perspective to his craft. He began upgrading his equipment, embracing modern DJ technology, and sharpening the skills that first began developing when he was just a kid. Today, his mission is simple: create memorable musical experiences, connect with people through sound, and bring the right energy to every occasion. From watching his father and uncle as an eight-year-old to building his own legacy behind the decks, DJ Edwin continues writing his story—one beat, one mix, and one unforgettable moment at a time.
